I’ve never been much of a blogger, but I did love building websites as a teenager. I had a technical blog at one point until I stopped paying for the domain and hosting. Given that the world is in a crisis right now, I’ve had a lot of time to engage with technical communities like I never have before as well as my own existence and redefining my purpose. Below are a few reasons that I’ve decided to give myself a platform again.

  1. I have many conversations with many people and I’d like to be able to reference them from time to time
  2. Things come out of the first point above, that I recollect a lot and share with others, so it’s nice to have a place to direct them to
  3. I suck at actually journaling and this is just a shoddy effort at doing so
  4. I keep a lot of technical notes and they’re organized by topic, but not time. I think a healthy relationship through revisiting my sometimes misguided and former thoughts is worth recounting and good for seeing progress or growth
  5. I don’t have a place for my other (non-technical) thoughts, so here’s a shot at that
